Individual Psychotherapy 

Individual psychotherapy/counselling is a collaborative journey, where meaningful conversations are used to explore and address the challenges that may arise from emotional or mental distress. As therapists, we have undergone extensive training in order to provide this support, usually holding a master’s degree or higher in the mental health field before beginning our practice.

 

In individual psychotherapy/ counselling, our sessions are one-on-one, typically lasting about 50 minutes. Before we begin, I will ask you to share some basic personal information and we’ll go over a confidentiality agreement, ensuring that everything we discuss remains private and safe.

 

Once we start, you will probably notice that the conversation is different from typical daily interactions. It’s a unique, healing experience that stems from the relationship we build together. Though I may initially be a “stranger,” my role is to offer a space where you feel safe enough to explore your inner world, express your true feelings, and thus connecting with your most authentic self. I’m glad to walk alongside you on a path of discovery, supporting you every step of the way to growth.

個人心理治療

心理治療/輔導是一種「對談」治療,主要透過談話去改善、修復、疏通那些心理疾病所產生的議題。心理治療師受過專業訓練,一般需要持有碩士或以上相關專業的學歷才可執業。

 

個人心理治療/輔導採用一對一、面對面的面談方式,每節約50分鐘,在開始面談之前,治療師會要求你填寫一份簡單的個人資料,並且和你簽訂一份保密協議,確保你的個人資料和談話內容受到保護。

 

在面談過程中,你會感受到你和治療師之間的對談,有別於你日常的交談,是一種獨特的、帶有治療意義的對話體驗。這種具有療癒效果的談話,來自你和治療師在整個治療過程中所建立的特別關係,對你來說,治療師是一個「陌生人」,同時也是被你信任的人,這個人會幫助你表達心底的感受,給予你勇氣去表露最真實的自己,與你一起去經歷探索、成長與完成自身潛能的過程。
